A New Woman

This is my former co-worker and friend, Beth. Yes, co-worker, as in “that” career I used to have. As in “40+ hours per week in an office”. I really love my new job better. Can you blame me? Mother & Photographer. Also known as a “Mom-Tog”.

Anyway, I haven’t seen Beth in a while and she came to visit me this past weekend. She’s transformed into a new woman! She lost weight, exercises routinely, eats healthy, has more confidence, has a new car, a new job, her personality shines brighter than ever and she’s dating again. And boy is she having fun dating! She always had a wonderful personality and was beautiful, but now she’s bubbling over with happiness with all the new changes in her life. So I had to take some pics of her in my back yard!

High School Senior, Eddie

Eddie’s Mom works with my husband and I was thrilled when she asked me to do Eddie’s senior pictures. They live on the East side so we met in Northville and I had the challenge of finding some new locations to shoot at. As you can tell from one of the pictures he loves music and is in a few different bands at school. And, you might notice that he has gorgeous eyes!

Enjoy your senior year, Eddie! Here are some of my favs.

My Boys - 4 yrs old (almost….ugh!)

Every 6 months I take my boys out for their own photo session, generally at their month of their birthday and their half birthday.  I hate to even admit that these are for their birthday month, because that means that I have to admit they are going to turn 4 years old, and I’m not ready to admit that. (insert a sigh & a tear here)  But yes, in one month and one day they will turn 4.

Tyler is the blonde & Brady is the brunette. Here are my big boys:

When I told the boys we were going to do their photo shoot they ran and got their “cameras” so they could take pictures of me also. They told me where to sit, posed me (instructing me where to put my hands, legs, etc) and told me to say “toodles in my woodles”. And as they clicked their cameras taking a picture of me I quickly snapped a quick one of them doing it. Which, by the way, made us have to re-do my picture till I cooperated. ha ha! They are now asking for Grandma to get them “real cameras to take real pictures” for their birthday.

Redheaded Beauties

You might remember this cute family from last Fall. Well, they were back this year with the addition of little Max. I love repeat clients! And isn’t the kids’ red hair simply gorgeous! (My Mom is sure to love this post because she loves red heads!)

It was great seeing you guys again!

High School Senior, Elaina

Hip Hip Hooray!! (I know, that was cheesy). But High school senior picture season has begun. And that makes me really excited because I love photographing seniors! Elaina was my first of the season and I have quite a few more scheduled this year. Elaina seemed like such a neat young lady, really sweet and she’s quite pretty, don’t ya think? I’d love to have her hair!! Speaking of hair, I was impressed to find out that she was in cosmetology school all summer. No wonder her nails, hair and make up all looked great! Enjoy your senior year, Elaina!! Here are some of my favs:
