You might remember this cute family from last Fall. Well, they were back this year with the addition of little Max. I love repeat clients! And isn’t the kids’ red hair simply gorgeous! (My Mom is sure to love this post because she loves red heads!)
It was great seeing you guys again!
You get to watch this little guy grow up along with me! He was in Mommy’s belly at their maternity session here. Then I photographed his newborn pictures here. And now you get to see baby Owen at 3 months! (And yes, they’ve told me I may be lucky enough to continue to his pictures in the future again!)
Owen was full of smiles and such a content baby! And it wasn’t until I was editing these pictures that I realized he has perfectly smooth skin, which is great at 3 months!
And big brother Andrew was there to jump in and make a picture perfect brother picture again (same as he did last time!). By the way, isn’t the yawning picture above the BEST? So sweet!
I enjoyed meeting Colleen and little Lucas for his personal session! And I mean personal. You see, he has two older siblings. You know how it goes. When you have your first baby you get a zillion pictures taken of them. But then with each baby after that you end up taking less and less pictures…..or the pictures become pictures of all the kids together. Well, not Colleen! I was so excited to hear that she wanted a personal photo session for Lucas all by himself. They have pics of the 3 kids scheduled together soon. But this special session was just for him. How cool is that?
By the way, I love how I was able to get so many shots showing off his two little bottom teeth. Here are some of my favs…..
Man, this whole family has stunning eyes! Which means many of my favorites are close ups! Sorry, can’t help it. And can you blame me? Noah is a little sweetie….a perfect model when it was his turn to pose alone. Gianna remembered me from some pics I took of her a few months ago and she clung to me when I left and said “I don’t want you to go”. Aw!! And Alexie had her 7th birthday party the day before and was SO excited about her signed Taylor Swift guitar that we had to take some pics with it. She played me the D chord over and over. Too cute!!
Oh, and at the very end you’ll notice Jaimee sporting some “t-shirt bling”, as I’ll call it, for her hubby, Tommy. It’s their first year of marriage. Stylishly sweet!
I had the pleasure of photographing baby Jackson when he was newborn, 6 months old and now again at 9 months old. It’s so fun to see him changing and showing off new things each time I see him (when I travel to Utah, that is). This time he was standing! We decided to do something different and we went to Saltaire at the Great Salt Lake and parts of the Salt Flats. Which, by the way, I’ve never been to. It was pretty unique seeing the vast amounts of salt. No, I didn’t float in the salt water…..maybe next time. LOL
Anyway, we were at there at high noon. Literally. Full sun, in the Salt Flats, no clouds, sun straight up in the air above us, obviously not a tree in sight, just bright white salt giving us an extra glare from the high sun. Ummm, nope, not a recipe for good pictures. So we found some areas around Saltaire and turned this shoot into an urban one. Pretty fun! Kim & TJ told me that the next day when they drove past the graffiti building it had been completely painted over. Good timing on our part!
We did find a small patch of grass. Jackson’s not quite sure how he feels about grass yet though.
