Eddie’s Mom works with my husband and I was thrilled when she asked me to do Eddie’s senior pictures. They live on the East side so we met in Northville and I had the challenge of finding some new locations to shoot at. As you can tell from one of the pictures he loves music and is in a few different bands at school. And, you might notice that he has gorgeous eyes!

Hip Hip Hooray!! (I know, that was cheesy). But High school senior picture season has begun. And that makes me really excited because I love photographing seniors! Elaina was my first of the season and I have quite a few more scheduled this year. Elaina seemed like such a neat young lady, really sweet and she’s quite pretty, don’t ya think? I’d love to have her hair!! Speaking of hair, I was impressed to find out that she was in cosmetology school all summer. No wonder her nails, hair and make up all looked great! Enjoy your senior year, Elaina!! Here are some of my favs:
Ask a High School senior how many days they have left of school and I guarantee you that they know exactly how many days! Maria knew! You might remember her from last Fall when I did her senior session. But, it’s time to send out graduation announcements and she now has shorter hair, and contacts instead of glasses. So I was honored to be able to take some updated pictures for her to include with her graduation announcements.
On that topic….ok, so I get why senior pics are done BEFORE their senior year….because they need the pics by the schools deadline in Sept or Oct for the yearbook. But really, they are almost a year older when they actually graduate and send out announcements. Come on! I’d want a few new pics too!

A horse isn’t quite as cooperative of a subject as you’d think. But I loved the idea this High School Senior had! Alexandria, it was great meeting you and hanging out at the stables with you. Her mom said this environment fit her personality perfect and I think her pictures turned out great because of it. Here are some of my favorites from the session so far.

I’ve done so many beautiful girl High School Seniors this season that it was fun to do another guy. Tommy and his Mom had seen some of the locations I did with the previous seniors and opted for some of those same spots. My barn location has become a favorite and chosen by so many too!
Tommy & Becky, it was great meeting you and I’m so glad we ended up having so much fun during our session. Come on Tommy, admit it, you had fun too! :) Here is a sneak peak of some of my favorites.
By the way, look at all of the trees in the various backgrounds. Do you notice that they are NOT all green anymore? Do you see COLOR? Yes, folks, fall is upon us. The trees are changing quickly!
