Heck….even a picture of him crying is cute (the only time I recall he was unhappy the entire day too).

And at the end, he was tired, and just fell asleep quitely. And Mom, Alaina, got the shot she was hoping for!

My studio room is a good size and I currently have it set up to accommodate up to 2 people, or 3 children. I’m not interested at this time in doing family pictures in the studio because I don’t feel like I can be very creative in a studio space with a large size group. So for now the studio will be focused on newborns, children and HS seniors. I probably enjoy the outdoor natural settings better, but the studio has proven so far to be very fun and we’ve accomplished some great shots in it, especially with my investment in so many unique canvas backdrops and floors. It will be really great in the cold weather months and for those who love the studio shots but don’t want to deal with the difficult, less-personal retail studios.

So, here are a few views of the studio room. Some of them are taken with my fish eye lens so you can see more of the room in one shot, hence the rounded edges of the pics.

You may have noticed in those pictures the wall of 11 Metal Standouts of some of the studio pics I took in the first month I had it up and running. I LOVE this new product! The pictures are put on a thin metal piece making it so contemporary and unique. The colors are vibrant, the quality is sharp and it’s actually an affordable way to display a grouping of your favorite pictures from a session. Or, if you have a small wall, you can display just one of them….if you look in the first picture you can see a pic of my boys with the skateboards by itself on a small wall in the studio (top left of pic).

When I first brought this one home I took a quick iphone picture of Brady holding it. Look how vibrant and clear the picture is on the Metal, even with a low quality iphone picture with no editing/enchancements!

Here are a couple more shots of them close up. They stand out from the wall about an inch (hence the term “standout”) because of a block of wood mounted on the back, which also has a keyhole in it for easy hanging with one nail. They come in Matte, Glossy or Metallic.

I am working on pricing right now, but an entire grouping of metals will cost less than one canvas normally would. I’ll be giving discounts on groupings as well.

The metals range is size from 6×6 as the smallest, to 15×18.75 as the largest with 4 other sizes in between. Like I mentioned, if you have a small wall, you can actually display one metal by itself. Or, I can help you design a grouping that fits your space and the pics you want to use. I can actually make a sample in software for you so you can see what it will look like. Here are some sample groupings below. I would actually drop your pictures in so you can see the actual pics in the grouping too.

Remember, your grouping combination is endless! Any sizes, any # of pics in any arrangement you & I can dream up. This is my grouping below that I dreamed up one night after about 5 tries in my software. It’s an example of what I would send to you prior to ordering so that you can see how your grouping would look all together. If you are like me, you have to see it to clearly envision how it will look on your wall!

We had about 30 minutes and tired kids (after 2.5 hours at an indoor amusement ride place), but managed to get some cute shots of them. Miss you guys already!
