With This Ring…..Myra Weds!

Meet Myra. The best hairstylist I’ve ever found! I met Myra about 2 years ago or so on one of those days when I hated my hair and my usual stylist had left the salon. Myra came to my rescue and has been doing my hair every 4-6 weeks since then! If you live in the Brighton area I’d highly recommend her! She’s at Studio 23 on Old 23 and Spencer Rd. And if you don’t live in Brighton, then I’d recommend that you drive to Brighton to get your hair done by her! :)

So, that leads me to the pictures below. These are pictures of Myra & her new husband Steve. They eloped on 8-8-08! What a fun anniversary! Surely Steve won’t forget that. LOL. The funniest thing is that I was her last client as a single person too…the night before she got married! They didn’t tell anyone they were getting married either…not a single person. And all I knew was that sometime after 8-8-08 she was going to schedule pictures with me. Then it all made sense!

A big congratulations to Myra & Steve! Here are some of my favorite pictures of them.

Congratulations to this very cute couple!

Congratulations to Lyndsay & Joe on their engagement! I had the pleasure of photographing their engagement pictures to be shared with lots of family members! Both of their parents came along on our photo shoot so they could meet me. Ironically, both of their parents live in my subdivision. Being golf lovers as so many people in our community are, guess where they asked me to meet them?! On the 18th hole of the golf course! Yep, these pictures were all taken on the golf course! How fun is that? Instead of showing you my favorites, I’ll show you some sample collages I put together for them.

They are the cutest, sweetest couple! They live in Ohio and were up here this week visiting family and taking care of lots of wedding plans. They are getting married in a year in our brand new clubhouse. The grand opening is this coming week (remember it burnt down about 1.5 years ago). Anyway, good luck with all your wedding plans, Lyndsay & Joe. It was great meeting you!

Were Senior Guys This Cute When I Was in School?

I don’t think so! I feel comfortable saying that about Aaron because he’s the son of a friend of mine. Debbie worked for me at SPAR (remember my “old” career?) and we’ve always been good friends. Aaron is her boyfriend’s son. They all came out to visit us and see the boys. Debbie hadn’t seen the boys since January (sorry everyone at SPAR…it’s been so long since I’ve visited!).

Anyway, we did Aaron’s senior pictures. Of course we had to make a stop at the train tracks since all seniors love those pictures. His dad said “It sure would be neat if a train would come by like in that one girl’s pictures”. Not too much after that and we heard “choo choo”! Bonus!! I love this first one with the train heading right towards him. Anyway, here are some pictures. Good luck in your senior year, Aaron!

We also took a few family pictures!

An Aspiring Actress

I had the opportunity to meet & photograph Carly last week. She has acted previously and is putting together her resume to submit to various theatre groups. She’s only 14 and saved up her money to get head shots done to be submitted with her resume. She was such a sweet girl and we had a lot of fun taking her pictures in her backyard! Good luck with your acting career, Carly! Maybe we’ll see you on the big screen someday! Here’s 3 of Carly’s favorite pictures.
