Holiday Sweetness

Holiday sweetness doesn’t get packaged much sweeter than this! You might remember baby Olivia from her newborn session about a month ago. Well, she came back to me for Holiday pictures and she brought along her Aunt. Yes, little Emma is an Aunt at the young age of just 4 years old.

Amy, here’s a sneak peak of some of my favorites of the sweet girls. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to photograph Olivia again. And Emma was just about as cooperative as I could ever imagine a 4 year old would be. She was a doll!

Precious Little Boy!

It must be baby season, because little Nick is the 5th newborn baby I’ve gotten to photograph in the past few weeks. Congratulations to Steve & Lisa on the birth of this little cutie pie! Lisa is a good friend of mine and her daughter Riley is one my boys’ play-group friends.

Nick celebrated his 1 week old birthday by coming over to my house today for his first photo shoot. Mother nature welcomed him to the great outdoors with a few inches of snow too. It’s always so hard to choose my favorites. But Lisa and Steve are waiting on pins & needles for a sneak peak. So, here you go guys, enjoy!

And here’s Riley with her new baby brother. She’s a proud big sister!

Oh Sweet Baby!

This was an impromptu little session with my cousin Shelley’s new baby daughter, Addison. She was only 5 days old when I visited them this past weekend when I was in Grand Rapids. I showed up with my camera. Shelley didn’t mind, of course, and we quickly rounded up some hats & props and took some pictures of her. Shelley is now the proud (and busy) mother of two baby girls under the age of 15 months. Congratulations again, Shelley! It was great seeing you & meeting Addison.

Addison kept giving me this o-shaped mouth expression, like in the first two pictures. Too darn stinking cute!!

The Beauty of Hawaii

Dave & I had a great time in Maui, Hawaii this past week.  The scenery is so gorgeous!  I had a lot of fun taking pictures of some beautiful sights!  I much prefer this type of weather over the snow I see outside today when I got back. I know there are a few clients waiting to hear back from me, so I’ll respond to everyone tonight! Thanks for being patient while I was away.

Twice The Fun!

Forget the “double trouble” phrase, I call it “Twice The Fun” since I know first hand how fun twins are.  My dear friend Jackie and her husband Dion had their twins Cooper & Keegan.  I barged in their house (LOL) yesterday when the boys were just 6 days old to help snap some pictures to capture those early memories during the time that becomes such a blur.  You know, sleepless nights, chaos, adjusting to schedules & such.

Since she’s my friend she’ll get several mini-sessions, probably every time I see her!  I just can’t help it.  They are so darn precious!  Yesterday the boys were awake through most of the time.  And they were squirmy.  I was surprised how active they were at just 6 days old, especially because they were preemies.  I’m coming back for some naked sleeping pictures next time, Cooper & Keegan!!

Thanks Jackie for letting me come over amidst all the busyness you are experiencing this week as you get settled at home with the boys!

Here’s proud big sister, Kennedy, with her baby brothers.  So sweet!

And here are some pictures of sweet Cooper who was a bit bigger than Keegan at birth.

And here’s precious little Keegan!  He’s doing some catching up in size too!
