Hey Cutie, Can I Take Your Picture?

My photography work isn’t all “work”. Sometimes I can’t help but say to one of my friends, “Hey, it’s an unusually nice day outside, let’s meet at a park and take a couple pics of your little one”.

On a rare 60+ degree day, that’s exactly what I did. This is Lisa’s little boy at 4 months old now. You might remember him from his newborn pictures. He wasn’t completely diggin’ the photo thing, but we captured some cute faces anyway (including one dimple shot for you at the end, Lisa).

Big sister, Riley, stood and watched the picture taking. Lots of warm days at the park to come, so Riley, you will get your turn soon enough! Just one quick one of Riley. She’s such a sweetie.

She’s 38 Weeks!

I had the pleasure of doing maternity pictures this morning for Christina, who is 38 weeks pregnant! I wanted to give her a sneak peek right away before her baby decides to make his grand entrance into this world! And yes, I’ll be doing newborn pics of the baby soon too! Yeah!

I think Christina makes a stunning pregnant beauty. You might recognize her from pics I did of her 1 year old son last summer. Wondering if the baby is a boy or girl? You might get a clue from some of these pictures. :)

My Oh My, What a Sweet Face

Do you remember sweet baby Olivia?  Here, I’ll give you a one picture reminder:

Ok, now you remember!! So, here’s baby Olivia at almost 5 months old. I couldn’t help but take a few shots of her beautiful face at the park the other day when we had one day (yes, only one, unfortunately) 68 degree day.

Do you love her eyes? What about her long eye lashes? And those toothless gums?! I love them. I bet mommy Amy does too!

Model Material

So, after looking at these pictures, I think 9 year old Bailie reminds me of an Abercrombie & Fitch model.  Her hair, her face, her perfect lips, her freckles.  She has major natural beauty…no make up, no photoshop editing, just au-naturale!  And only 9 years old!  And baby Wyatt, at 7 weeks old, is such a little sweetheart.  Put them together and they make the cutest set of siblings I know in Utah!  I took these pictures last weekend while in Utah.  These beauties belong to Dave’s nephew Andy and his wife Stacie.  

Hold on for a bit of picture overload.  I had way, way too many to try to choose my favorites.  And they are family, and this is my blog, so I’m allowed to go a little crazy.  Ha Ha!

First up, I’m in love with this picture of Bailie.  I want to make a poster of it and put it on my wall.  And then enter it into a contest somewhere.  By the way, the John Deere tractor and her dad’s cowboy hat were her idea.  And it totally shows her true personality.


Next up I have to show you my favorite of the kids together. I heart this one as well. Notice Wyatt pulling a strand of his big sis’s hair.  Stacie, this one would make a great poster for your wall.

And for the rest of the pictures, I’ll keep quiet and let them speak for themselves.

Utah Fun!

We traveled to Utah this past weekend.  It was gorgeous weather!  It was 50 to 60 degrees and sunny.  So, of course I had to take advantage of it and take my boys outside to play.  And of course, my camera came along!  Here’s a few of my boys enjoying the outdoors.  Notice the mountains in the background, covered in snow.  It’s gorgeous!  This first picture of Tyler just cracks me up.  I feel like I could write a whole story just by looking at this one picture.
