My Favorite Boys Turned THREE Today

Today we celebrated my twins, Brady & Tyler’s 3rd birthday. If you are a mom, you can relate to this….time goes way too fast! It’s nearly impossible that they are 3 already. In fact, if they didn’t tell me all day “I not two anymore, mom, I free (three)” I wouldn’t believe it. But if they say so, I guess they are.

Can someone tell me how to slow down time? Please. Pretty please.

Let the Fall Sessions Begin

This is my first official fall session of the season. This session had all the typical fall-ness needed to make it perfect…..cooler weather, gloomy with a chance of rain, some fall colors in the leaves, sweaters, pants, socks & brown shoes. Even Noah had on my favorite fall color…orange! The S family is a repeat client and you may remember them from their pictures in the spring. It’s such an honor to be hired again by people. Thank you guys! I had a lot of fun with you again!

Plenty of fall sessions coming up to show you. I’m getting close to being completely booked. So call me quickly if you still want a session this Fall.

I must apologize. With family combinations it’s too hard to narrow down my favorites. So, welcome to picture over-load. Maybe I’m just excited about Fall sessions. But I must post all of these. I can’t be stopped. What a sweet family!

And we ended our session with cupcake celebration for little Luke’s 1st birthday!

Some Senior Fun at the Stables

A horse isn’t quite as cooperative of a subject as you’d think. But I loved the idea this High School Senior had! Alexandria, it was great meeting you and hanging out at the stables with you. Her mom said this environment fit her personality perfect and I think her pictures turned out great because of it. Here are some of my favorites from the session so far.

PS….Can you name that CD album cover? Hint…former American Idol finalist.

Switching Places

Hmm…me behind the camera! I wanted to see what it felt like to stand next to the tracks and get my picture taken with an oncoming train, just like several of my HS seniors have done. When I’m taking the pictures it doesn’t bother me to have it whip right by me because I’m concentrating on getting good shots, but when I’m standing there naked, without my camera, posing, it’s not quite as easy! I jumped out of the way pretty quickly after this picture was taken.

Thanks to my friend Sara for taking this picture. By the way, the train is the actual train from the movie Polar Express. It made a day visit in the little city of Hamburg nearby.

Another Guy Senior

I’ve done so many beautiful girl High School Seniors this season that it was fun to do another guy. Tommy and his Mom had seen some of the locations I did with the previous seniors and opted for some of those same spots.  My barn location has become a favorite and chosen by so many too!

Tommy & Becky, it was great meeting you and I’m so glad we ended up having so much fun during our session.  Come on Tommy, admit it, you had fun too!  :)   Here is a sneak peak of some of my favorites.

By the way, look at all of the trees in the various backgrounds. Do you notice that they are NOT all green anymore? Do you see COLOR? Yes, folks, fall is upon us. The trees are changing quickly!
