Holiday Season

Thanksgiving is now over and December is around the corner. Can you believe it? I had planned to “shut down” for the month of December as many photographers do. Instead I’ve agreed to do a couple more photo sessions and am finishing up ordering for remaining clients. For those of you who have outstanding orders, if you could place them before December 10 then I’ll be able to get your order placed before leaving for the holidays. I’ll be gone the majority of the second half of December visiting relatives in different areas. I also want to take some well needed time to focus on projects around the house, getting ready for the holidays (shopping, cooking, cleaning, etc.) and enjoying time with family.

I’ll leave you with a picture of little Nick that I took recently for his big 1st birthday celebration. So cute!

So Sweet

You might remember this little cutie from her first birthday pictures this Fall. Click Here. This time they wanted family pictures for their Christmas cards/Christmas gifts. Can you believe it’s almost time to start addressing Christmas cards?!

Terri has become one of my most faithful blog commenters and it’s been fun getting to know her and now the rest of her family. Genevieve was as cute as ever and full of some fun smiles for me this time too.

By the way, did you notice that Genevieve has a short sleeve Christmas dress on? Outside? In November? We’ve had some amazing weather lately!!

Cool (and Handsome) Brothers

Are these brothers a couple of cool guys, or what? They met me in the leaves for some photographs, along with some fun. By the end of the session Luke and I were chasing each other around and having a great time.

Zach, here you go. You are officially on the internet like you asked. Pretty neat, huh?

Jen, your boys were great! I think your pictures reflect that! So cute!!

Fall Isn’t Over Yet & This Little Guy is Happy (Me Too!)

You might be remember big brother, Noah, from this newborn session recently. Click Here. Well, he put on a shirt and hat this time for a mini session and met me in the leaves. What a cutie! Kerry, hope these make you smile. He sure had fun running and playing in the leaves.

PS…please ground crew, do not decide to clean up the leaves from this spot. Thank you for leaving them alone today when I saw you working on the property with your big leave blower/crusher machiney thing. It made me happy. I like the leaves. A lot.

Last Minute Fall Mini Sessions

I can’t believe I’m doing this because I had decided that mother nature gave us the last opportunities for Fall sessions around Michigan and I was already preparing to finish up for the season. Everything is gray and dreary. No leaves anywhere to be found. But today I passed this spot that was full of beautiful leaves everywhere and there were even leaves on the tree up above. I think this literally must be the only spot left in Michigan with an ounce of color. So I ran home, grabbed my camera and took my boys for a mini-session. I was so glad because I didn’t have one single picture of my boys with Fall leaves! Can you believe that? I’ve been too busy photographing everyone else’s kids! LOL

So, if you feel like the season completely passed you, or if couldn’t afford a full session, or if you just need a few pictures for Christmas cards or gifts, then this might be of interest to you. I’ll do mini sessions this week only during the hours of 3:00-5:00pm on Thursday & Friday at this same location (as long as the leaves last) for anyone interested. The forecast is showing 55 degrees and sunny for the rest of the week too.

Details:
$100 due at the time of the session
6 of the best images will be given to you on a CD with a copyright release
Location is in Brighton near Brighton Rd & Chilson
Up to 4 people ($10 per additional person)

Contact me ASAP by emailing me at email@rememberwhenphotographybykristi.com or calling me at 248-505-1974.

Here’s an idea of what the location looks like and what your pictures might look like. There are more trees and tree stumps we could utilize as well. These are my twins, Brady & Tyler who recently turned 3 years old. Sniff. Sniff.

A tree stump makes a great tripod. I thought it would be fun to try. This was the only shot we took and I love it. Not too often I get in pics with my boys!
