Nathan’s Visit

My 12 year old nephew, Nathan, is staying with us this week and we’re having lots of fun. We took my little boys “exploring” on the train tracks today and took a few shots of Nathan along the way. He’s such a neat guy and growing up too fast!

By the way, I have some exciting shots to show you, hopefully by the end of the week, from a kind of session that is new to me! Stay tuned.

Couple of Cute Dudes

Oh, I just couldn’t wait to work on some of my favorites of these guys and get them posted! Cole & Parker cracked me up. They really, really were looking forward to having their pics taken. They had their favorite new outfits picked out and by half way through they were picking their own photo locations, poses and facial expressions. So cute!

So, you see, we started out with the cute smiles and had some fun. And we got these images……

Then an outfit change into brand new Abercrombie duds and I think they were feeling pretty cool in them. So I found this cool spot and told them we were going to shoot a funky picture like one you’d see for an Abercrombie ad. This is what we got. And then almost every picture after that they wanted to do their “Abercrombie face” as we ended up calling it.

And lastly, a super nice one of my friend Cindy and her boys. It was great visiting with them (remember, they live in Denver) and photographing them! It was an honor and pleasure for me!

BFF’s

My BFF from college lives in Denver so we only get to see each other every 2-3 years. It was so much fun being able to spend the day with her yesterday! Stay tuned for pics from a photo session with her super cute (and cool) dudes. Meanwhile, here’s a pic that her 10 yr old took of her & I together. I like it. A lot.

Turn The Street Corner & Be Amazed

Yes, this street actually exists in downtown Detroit. I can’t believe I never knew about it until my friend Lisa mentioned it last week. I had to check it out! Click here to read about this amazing project that began in 1986. The artist grew up on this street and I was fortunate enough to meet him and chat with him for awhile before looking around and taking photographs of his artwork that stretched down an entire street block. Pretty interesting, huh?

I Wish I Had Her Hair

My last of the lovely ladies I took pics of in Utah. Notice a trend? All 3 of them have gorgeous long hair. I wish I had hair that long. I am trying (once again) to grow mine out. I can’t imagine how many years it would take me to get my hair this long. Sigh…

Anyway, Stacie, you are looking great!! Here is one of my favs of you.
