Good Friends from my Former Job

These ladies are the best! Everyday, for 5 years, we’d share not only work stuff, but we formed relationships and friendships as we spent hours and hours together. I’m talking about my former work life. Which by the way, does NOT seem like just yesterday. It seems like a long time ago!

Anyway, we haven’t gotten together in a very long time, so we had a little reunion at Laura’s house in Rochester Hills. These ladies worked in my HR Department at SPAR. Debbie wasn’t able to make it and we really missed her! Laura & her mom made us a wonderful lunch and we had a nice long 4+ hour visit.

The boys really enjoyed it. Laura’s nephew came for the day also. Dianne brought the boys a bag full of goodies, which they are still playing with now.

I had a great time with you guys! Can’t wait to do it again.

Boating Fun

6:45pm - Dave: “What should we do for an hour? Want to go boating again tonight?”
6:46pm - Ring, Ring. Kristi: “Hey, Sara, would you guys want to go boating in 15 minutes?”
6:47pm - Sara calls back: “Can Adam wake-board? He’s so excited.”
7:05pm - We’re on the boat. And yes, crazy Adam went wake-boarding in MAY in MICHIGAN. The water isn’t even warm enough in August in Michigan for my liking. Adam, did you think this would be the only invitation you’d get from us to go boating? Something tells me we’ll be repeating this more often this summer. The boys love it. And so do Brady, Tyler, Dylan & Noah. (Did you catch that? LOL)

Moms of twins. Always two on our lap at any given time.

Beautiful Weather

This weather is soooo gorgeous this week! I’m so glad to be wearing flip flips and summer clothes! Today was one of those days where nothing seemed to go perfect. Then I found this picture that I took today and realized it wasn’t such a bad day after all. It just didn’t go exactly as I had planned. You’d think after 2.5 years I’d know the day doesn’t always go as planned when you have children.

Maiden Voyage of 2009

It’s always a good sign when we get to put the boat in the water for the season. It means warm weather & boating is just around the corner. Actually, it looks like it will be gorgeous weather this whole week. So despite the windy & somewhat chilly day (luckily the sun was shining bright) we put the boat in the water and took it for a spin. The boys were so excited to see the boat launch into the water, and even more excited to ride in it. I suppose they liked it the past couple of summers also, but this is the first summer they can use their words to express how much they like it.

My New Fav

My new favorite picture, which is actually my new wallpaper on my laptop now. What nice brothers!

You guys check out my photo blog, right? Ok, so if you do, you already saw this pic yesterday on that blog. But I wanted to post it on this blog too. Maybe someday I’ll make this family blog into a book or something (there’s options to do that, right?). Anyway, I figured I needed my fav pics of my boys in this blog too.
